The Sword of Shrewsbury

The Sword of Shrewsbury archery competition returns for its 32nd year on 12th September 2020. This is a unique longbow event comprising a BLBS style Clout in the morning and a 2-way target shoot in the afternoon.  The overall winner goes home with a full-sized Sword!

This event, held in September of each year is a unique combination of Clout and target archery and attracts entries from far afield.

Due to the pandemic, we are at present limited to entries as no more than 30 people will be allowed on to the range during the event. Assuming there are 2 non-shooting organisers this means there can be only 28 participants. So, if you wish to take part, please let us know asap to reserve your place. We will let everyone know if there is any further easing on numbers.
